7-28-2012 HAMILTON FAMILY FISHING REDS IN NEW ORLEANS
I had the pleasure of fishing the Hamilton family from Mississippi Monday and Tuesday . Monday with the chance of thunder storms I stayed in the marsh fishing in protected water and near some camps in case we had to take cover from rain . We caught good but just shy of our 25 red limit. Tuesday with the weather clearing and no wind I went back to the grass beds and had our limit of red fish for 9:45 . It was a fun couple of days with them . Thanks Y’all and I look forward to seeing y’all again soon. I fished yesterday and it was a tough day of fishing with some weather pressing in from the north west the fish were skittish I tried everything from spoons to plastic and to the shrimp under a cork . They just didn’t wanna bite. We caught enough for them to go have cooked at a local restaurant and they were happy with that . You can’t catch em everyday I guess but it wasn’t from a lack of trying. After a few phone calls to some friend it sounded like everyone was having a rough time . Well I’m off today but back on the water tomorrow and Monday . 7-9-2012 TEXAS GUYS VS RED FISH IN NEW ORLEANS
Monday I fished Mr Ron , Mr Leroy , and Mr Robert from south Texas .With some thunder storms in the area that I’ve been fishing red fish I took a ride south and fished for trout . After catching a few throw backs and 14 keepers and hooked into a 20# drum the weather cleared to the north and off we went in search for the reds . The water was clear but low so the bite was a lil slow but we ended up with 19 keepers and a bunch of throw backs that didn’t make the size limit. Fishing in New Orleans with weedless spoons is a very effective way to fish the grass beds for red fish . The red fish were between 16-22″ which are the best for the grill or frying . If you’ve never been on a New Orleans fishing Charter it a must do if visiting New Orleans . Its lots of fun and affordable for all . We accommodate all from the experienced or the fist timers . I have been fishing a bunch since my last report . It just gets a lil rough to get to the computer at times . We have been catching some good numbers and size specks . Some days are better than others .The red fish are biting as well we may have to look around a lil but once ya find em the action is on. The weather has been cooperative at times . We’ve been having some evening showers but for the most part, its been comfortable fishing weather. 6-22-2011 FED EX from Tenn
Monday I had the pleasure of fishing with some guys that work for FED EX in Tenn . It started off to be a rough morning when I woke with a stomach bug . Not being able to find anyone in such short notice I had to go or cancel . I dont like to cancel . I made the call and off to catch some fish we went. With the full moon being up all night the fish were a lil sluggish in the morning . I made some tackle changes and it made the difference. Ended the day with 14- reds , 12 drum , a trout , and a flounder in the box to take back to Tenn. Mr Charles , Mr Chuck ,Jr and Mr Scott loved to fish and do some competitive joking around . Thanks guys for the fun day on the water . The weather was nice a lil breezy but it kept the temps comfortable. I’m back on the water Friday . 6-12-2011 FISH ARE ON FIRE!!!!
I have to catch up on the last week or so of my fishing reports . Its been hard to get to the computer to do em, been fishing so much. The fishing has been good very good . We have been catching limits of reds and some specks when the conditions allow. Here in the last week we have been catching a bunch of specks. The wind has been calm in the morning and you can see the shrimp jumping and the birds diving . SPECKS are there. The red fish have been very good as well . It could be the first spot or have to move around a little to find em but once ya do they are schooled up. The red fish have been in the 16- 29″ range

5-19-2011 NO FLOOD WATER HERE !!!
Been having some computer problems so I haven’t been able to get my reports out but I have been fishing and catching reds and some specks . we have been having a crazy May with 2 cold fronts blowing threw so far . But we have been able to get on some nice fish. Everyday is different some days they come fast and some we have to work for em but at the end we always have a mess of fish in the box. Booking has slowed some and I’m guessing its from the news of the Mississippi River being at its flood stage. We are not effected by this . Just yesterday I couldn’t get into a pond I like to fish cause the water was so low from the cold front that blew for 2days. The media always reports the worst of things . I’m back on the water tomorrow Its May and the fish are on and the weather has been nice. COME FISH A NAWLINS GOOD TIME.
APRIL 15,2011 FISHING IN LAFITTE
OK I have been a little busy here and haven’t been able to keep up with my reports so I’m gonna give ya a run down of whats been going on.Ive been fishing a bunch with new and repeate customers. The fishing has been good weather permitting . The wind mostly seems like the wind just don’t wanna stop ,but we have been still able to catch some nice specks and reds . I wanna thank Mrs Nikki, Mr, Ted ,and Mr Jeff for the fun day of fishing on 4/3/11. Mr Nick ,Mrs. Dee, and Mr Steve on 4/7/11. Ean , Lowe, and Brett on 4/8/11. Mrs. Star, Mrs Angie ,Mr. Trent , and Mr. Tray from Slidell on 4/9/11 and KC, Josh, JT ,and Dough on 4/10/11. Sorry this report isn’t in detail like I usually do . The trout have been in the 16-20″ range and the reds have been 16-27″range we have been fishing in the bays , lakes and canals . I haven’t been able to get out to the pass for the big bull reds lately due to the wind but I am looking forward to getting back out there and hearing the drag scream . 4-2-2011 ARKANSAS BOYS BACK IN TOWN
Every year My good friends from Arkansas come in and fish and go to the annual crawfish cook off. Its always a good time no matter what happens . Mr Johnny had his son Steve and his 2 friends Mack and Ott with em. They wanted to go to the pass and try the bull reds out . It wasn’t 10 min after we got the lines in the water big red on . After that an hour and no bite or tide . So we hit the marsh and got on to some 29 ” reds like they come out a mold all the same size.. State law only allows us to keep 1 red over 27″per man but they are fun to catch .They ended up with 9 reds 4 drum and a trout . Now it was time to go eat some crawfish .As always with these guys it was a fun day of fishing and catching up. Thanks guys. 3/29/2011 IOWA VS. BULL REDS
Today we had an epic battle between the bull reds and Mr. Gary , Mr. Chris ,Mr. Dan ,and Mr. Mike It was a tough one to call but I think the guys had the upper hand after landing 40 bull reds and 8 drum . The fish wereon fire. I don’t know how many double and triple hook ups we had but it was plenty and it kept me on my toes all day . As the day progressed and the tide strenghtened the fights got harder and longer . This was their first time ever fishing South Louisiana and I thing I might of spoiled em . They will be fishing with me for the next 2days . Looks like the weather may hold us back a 
lil while tomorrow but once it passes we’re gonna go fish the inland marshes and bayous for reds .
