NEW ORLEANS FISHING REPORT 11/25/13 LOUISIANA WINTER RED FISH
Late November and still catching red fish here in Lafitte ,Louisiana just south of New Orleans. This time of year we never know what Mother Nature is gonna hand us, so we take it one day at a time . For the last 2 days we have had a cold front blowing in which had the winds up 20-30 mph at times and cold. With winds like this I try not to cross any big water . Staying in the marsh and canals I found a few red fish willing to tug on a line with a few other fish to boot. Despite the weather conditions we boxed a bunch of fish and had a great time . New Orleans Fishing Report 11/7/13 Fishing Red Fish in New Orleans, Louisiana
Ok so here it is November already and the cold fronts are blowing in from time to time dropping water levels and temps . But That’s not gonna stop us from catching our share of the fish here in New Orleans . Capt Roy and I have been out catching red fish and speckle trout. Some days we have to work for our fish but we always manage to have a good time and put fish in the box. Today we battled 20-30 mph winds with a cold front blowing and ended up with a mess of fish, good times and memories to boot. If you’d like to get in some fishing while your in New Orleans

New Orleans Fishing Report / 10/23/13/ Fall Fishing In New Orleans Speckle Trout and Red Fish
Almost through October and fall temps are here in New Orleans .With the fall weather patterns we are catching lots of speckle trout and reds as well. This month I’ve been out a town a lil so I had Capt. Roy run things for me and he has done a fine job of keeping everything running smooth with happy customers and ice chest of fish hitting the dock . The trout have schooled up all over and have been easy pickings. Red fish are still hanging out in the marsh since the tide hasn’t dropped much and have been cooperating for us . Yesterday we loaded the box up with specks and reds, it was a fun day on the water . November is another month that is good fishing . I look forward to the rest of this month and into Novembers fishing . I do have a few opening so if your in town or coming to New Orleans give me a call .New Orleans fishing is like none other so……

Its been a couple days since I put up a fishing report from here in New Orleans. The fishing has been good we are still catching ice chest full of red fish daily . Some days its easier than others . Mother nature depicts where and how I’m fishing and what ever she has in store for us we have the answer to it . Lately we have been having a good over cast with a chance of rain so the heat hasn’t been an issue. Today was another good day of fishing here in Lafitte . Catching nice red fish and plenty of em . Today they were averaging between 20″-25″ New Orleans red fish that are just fun to catch on light tackle .Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Mr. Ray , and his sons Lil Ray and Ryan from Chicago Ill. Another good weekend of fishing New Orleans red fish in Lafitte , Louisiana . The fish have been cooperating and the weather has been too sometimes . We had a couple of thunderstorms come through this weekend but not enough to stop us from catching fish . If I see the weather is gonna have rain in it I stay close to an area where we can get out of it by going to one of the fish camps . Once the weather passes we go back to fishing. The red fish have been healthy in size and numbers . This weekend we mainly fished with blk/chart baby bull minnows on a 1/4 oz jig head just swimming the bait. Well its been a busy couple of weeks and I haven’t had a chance to get any reports in . We are still catching plenty of red fish and most of em coming by was of spoons and spinner baits and some on market shrimp under a cork. 7-2-12 ANOTHER FINE WEEK OF FISHING IN NEW ORLEANS
My week started off Thursday and I’ve fished through the weekend and what a fun 4 days it has been with limits of nice red fish being caught every trip. This week I’ve been fishing in a different spot than last week due to the lack of wind so I didn’t need to hide in protected waters . All fish this week were caught on weedless spoons fishing some grass bed . The bait has been holding up in it and so have the fish . The red fish have been between 17″-27″ . 6-25-2012WINDY BUT GREAT WEEK OF FISHING IN NEW ORLEANS
Fishing this week was great a lil windy but very productive with limits of red fish coming into the dock ever trip every day. I started fishing Thursday and fished through to Sunday . Thursday and Friday I had Capt Dave and Capt Donovan help me out with some guys that came in last min and they were able to catch their limits of red fish and a few trout as well . Thanks Guys Ya’ll did great job . Saturday I had Capt Dave help out again with another last min Fishing trip coming in late Friday night . Saturday and Sunday were both very windy but the back water marsh that I’ve been fishing provided plenty of cover from the wind and held fish all weekend. When Fishing In New Orleans you always have the possibility of strange and unpredictable weather but always a good time . The red fish we have been catching have been mixed up in sizes but all of them put up a fight that is anything short of a battle . I do fish with light tackle and the action is hot and exciting on light tackle .
